Alájoké marks a deeply personal and symbolic release from Tojúbokùn, unveiled on her father’s birthday as a tribute to his transition earlier in the year. This body of work stands as both remembrance and offering, honoring lineage while speaking to the present condition of society.
The EP is grounded in ancestral consciousness, drawing from the wisdom of tradition while engaging contemporary realities. Each track carries a voice that moves between reverence, reflection, and expression, creating a space where memory, culture, and lived experience meet.
Through a carefully arranged sequence, Alájoké unfolds as more than music — it is a journey. From invocation to movement, from stillness to declaration, the project captures both the internal and the collective.
The EP features 10 tracks, including original compositions, skits rooted in Ifá structure, and extended reinterpretations that deepen the listening experience.
